About me
I'm a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with 7 years of experience working in the public health care sector, with children, adolescents and adults. I am currently working towards obtaining my psychotherapy license with the Ordre des psychologues et psychothérapeutes du Québec (OPQ) and I have been a member with the Ordre des ergothérapeute du Québec (OEQ) since 2017.
My experience in the public sector include working at CLSC Lasalle (Mental Health Youth Team), at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute (Department of Child Psychiatry), at École Irénée-Lussier et annexes (a specialized high school for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Delay), at the Centre Hospitalier de Université de Montréal (Department of Medical Psychiatry), as well as at CLSC des Faubourgs, in the Mental Health Adult Team (Soutien Intensité Variable- SIV Team). Finally, she has also acted as interim clinical supervisor at CLSC Lasalle from the Youth Mental Health team, in the last year.

As an Occupational Therapist, I work towards empowering clients by facilitating their participation in occupations that are meaningful and important to them. These occupations can range from productive activities (such as school, work, and household duties) to self-care and leisure activities. I became an Occupational Therapist because I believe that our daily activities and occupations are not only a reflection of who we are, but are also opportunities for us to express ourselves, grow, and bring meaning to our lives. Therefore, being able to engage in and choose activities that align with our values can have a powerful impact on our mental health and well-being.

I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Self Compassion Therapy and mindfulness approaches in my practice. I look forward to supporting you on your mental health journey.
