Kelly Angelis, T.S. (MCPS, BSW, SCC)
Kelly is an attentive and experienced counsellor with over 15 years in the field of mental health. She is dedicated to supporting you and your family on your path to healing. Specializing in anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma, Kelly offers a comprehensive approach that effectively addresses the most challenging issues. With her extensive expertise, she creates a safe and nurturing space, allowing you to explore your emotions and experiences with confidence. Kelly's approach is rooted in cultural sensitivity and a non-judgmental stance, fostering an environment of trust and empowerment. She firmly believes in helping you overcome obstacles and discover your inner strength. Kaya is a dedicated and compassionate clinical social worker with a profound passion for helping individuals manage mental health challenges. With a solid foundation in psychology, a Master's degree in Social Work, and over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, she possesses a unique blend of expertise that allows her to address complex social and emotional challenges. Kaya has provided counselling and support to numerous individuals struggling with addictions, anxiety, stress, guilt, shame, relationship and family conflict, racial discrimination, as well as survivors of sexual violence. Her empathetic and nonjudgmental demeanour creates a safe and trusting environment where you can explore your emotions and experiences openly. Kaya recognizes the importance of individualized care and tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each person she works with. Her counselling approach centers on a holistic approach of self-compassion and mindfulness, encouraging you to embrace your emotions without judgment. Drawing on your strengths and resilience, she guides you towards personal growth, new possibilities, and positive change. Catherine is a Registered Social Worker with 12 years of experience in mental health. Her expertise lies in individual, and group therapy, and has a passion for Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Structured Relapse Prevention, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and substance use. Catherine aims to support your psychological wellbeing by promoting a safe and healthy environment to grow and recover. Her hope is to help support you in gaining awareness and skills to make sustained changes in your life through human connection and learning. Marie Jelenia Cyrise T.S. CFT Psychotherapist (CFT, MSW, BSW)
Jélénia is originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 2008. She began her post-secondary academic career in the field of computer science and purposefully chose to pursue a career in the therapeutic helping field in 2012. After 10 years of studies at Dawson College and McGill University, she became an empathetic, practical, and passionate Social Worker, Couple and Family Therapist, and Psychotherapist. Jélénia acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience through internships and fieldwork. She has gained extensive knowledge in the mental health, psychiatry, and suicidal crisis intervention field, and continuously cultivates her professional interest. Languages: She provides services in French, English, and Haitian Creole. Her goal is to empower and assist individuals, couples, and families facing daily challenges and wanting to improve their well-being. She helps them develop concrete strategies and effective skills with empathy and professionalism. Jélénia has been trained in various therapeutic modalities such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She combines these different modalities to address issues related to self-exploration, interpersonal dynamics, relationship concerns, and grief. She prioritizes a scientific, holistic, cultural, and systemic approach that considers individual experiences within broader social and cultural contexts. Jélénia believes that "each person is the expert in their own life," and accordingly, she respects their unique needs, circumstances, experiences, emotions, and pace in the therapeutic process. She hopes to offer an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment fostered by understanding, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. Her ultimate commitment is to support and provide the necessary services and resources to individuals on their personal growth and healing journey.

Jessica is a seasoned clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience. At present, she is working towards the obtention of her psychotherapy permit through the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). In her work with others, she plays a supportive, nurturing role and strives to create a safe and secure space for sharing and engagement. She is committed to guiding others on their healing journeys and in the discovery of their most authentic selves, with the goal of helping people reach an optimal state of fulfillment, satisfaction, and overall well-being. Jessica practices from a holistic framework, with the integration of Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Family Systems models. Through a trauma-informed, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based approach, Jessica works with individuals and families with various challenges. Language(s): French & English

Maria Sotirakos, O.T. (Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist Intern)
Maria is a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with 7 years of experience working in the public health care sector, with children, adolescents and adults. She is currently working towards obtaining her psychotherapy license with the Ordre des psychologues et psychothérapeutes du Québec (OPQ). She has been a member with the Ordre des ergothérapeute du Québec (OEQ) since 2017. Her experience in the public sector includes working at CLSC Lasalle (Mental Health Youth Team), at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute (Department of Child Psychiatry), at École Irénée-Lussier et annexes (a specialized high school for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Delay), at the Centre Hospitalier de Université de Montréal (Department of Medical Psychiatry), as well as at CLSC des Faubourgs, in the Mental Health Adult Team (Soutien Intensité Variable- SIV Team). Finally, she has also acted as interim clinical supervisor at CLSC Lasalle from the Youth Mental Health team, in the last year. Maria offers services in both English and French. As an Occupational Therapist, Maria works towards empowering clients by facilitating their participation in occupations that are meaningful and important to them. These occupations can range from productive activities (such as school, work, and household duties) to self-care and leisure activities. Maria became an Occupational Therapist because she believes that our daily activities and occupations are not only a reflection of who we are, but are also opportunities for us to express ourselves, grow, and bring meaning to our lives. Therefore, being able to engage in and choose activities that align with our values can have a powerful impact on our mental health and well-being. In her own spare time, Maria enjoys creative activities, such as dance, art, and music, but also being in nature. She tries to incorporate creative modalities in her intervention sessions when the opportunity presents itself and is in line with the client's goals and interests. Maria also uses CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Self Compassion Therapy and mindfulness approaches in her practice. She believes in a client-centered practice and in creating a warm, compassionate and collaborative space for her clients to work on their goals.

Bianca is a Clinical Social Worker, holding a Masters in Social Work, Bachelor’s in Human Relations, and a DEC in Social Services. Over the past seven years, she has worked with children, families, and adults in diverse environments such as youth protective services, residential community centres, and in a CLSC. Her experience extends to assisting individuals grappling with mental health issues like anxiety and depression, as well as navigating challenging family relationships. Bianca uses a comprehensive and personalized approach to therapy, tailored to meet the unique experiences, needs, and therapy goals of each client. She draws on elements from several modalities including family systems theory, client-centered therapy, strength-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based counseling. These modalities are used to help clients understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster self-compassion. Bianca strives to foster a secure and safe environment that allows for personal exploration and self-reflection. Her empathetic and caring nature supports clients by inviting them to uncover how their previous experiences may be contributing to their daily functioning and relationships. In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature, practicing yoga, and spending time with her dog.
