I’m a Registered Clinical Social Worker in Quebec and Ontario with a background in psychology and social work. Clients usually come to me when their mind feels busy but their body feels exhausted, when they notice themselves overreacting, shutting down, or feeling on edge without fully knowing why. They may feel disconnected from themselves or others, or tired of trying to “push through” when something deeper needs attention. I’m trained in EMDR through an EMDRIA-approved program and I’m currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My work is informed by solution-focused, CBT/DBT, and somatic approaches, which means we pay attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to how your body and nervous system respond to stress and past experiences.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure where to begin or if part of you feels like you should be coping better. Many people come in feeling constantly on edge, overthinking everything, or carrying a sense of tension that never fully lets up. You might notice your body reacting before your mind has a chance to catch up, like your heart racing, shutting down during conflict, snapping at someone you care about, or feeling overwhelmed by situations that “shouldn’t” feel so big. These reactions can be confusing and frustrating, especially when you’ve already tried to manage them on your own.

In our work together, we will focus on creating a space where we slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We look at how these patterns developed as ways of protecting you, even if they no longer feel helpful. From there, we gently build new ways of responding so your reactions feel more manageable, your emotions more understandable, and your choices more aligned with who you are now.
