I’m Kelly Angelis, a Registered Social Worker in Quebec (BSW, MACP), and I support individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, and relational challenges. I’m an EMDRIA-approved and EMDR Certified therapist, and I’m currently completing the two-year Somatic Experiencing® training, which helps me bring a nervous-system–informed, trauma-informed lens to the work we do together.
At times, therapy can feel overwhelming- especially when you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin. You might feel pressure to be “further along,” even though your nervous system and lived experiences are asking for steadiness, care, and pacing. In our work together, I focus on creating a warm, collaborative space that is tailored to your needs. I integrate EMDR and somatic principles, and I also draw from evidence-based approaches and practical tools (including DBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, and narrative or solution-focused approaches when helpful). My goal is for you to feel grounded, supported, and empowered so you can move forward with more ease, stronger connection (to yourself and to each other), and lasting change.
I work with adults and couples, with particular focus on trauma recovery, emotion regulation, burnout, life transitions, fertility/IVF-related stress, and the attachment and communication patterns that can show up in relationships. I’m also mindful that fertility and family-building journeys can carry layers of stress and grief, and I bring a compassionate, steady presence to this work, informed by personal understanding while always keeping the focus on your experience and your goals.

More About Me
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and a mother. The sea and mountains of Greece are part of my roots and heritage, and they’re where I feel most grounded – where the salt air softens the edges and the mountain stillness brings me back to myself. I carry that same sense of steadiness, warmth, and resilience into the way I show up with the people I support.
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” – Mary Anne Radmacher
