About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times - responsibilities pile up, emotions feel heavy, and it can be hard to know where to begin. Many people come to therapy unsure of whether it will help or feeling like they should already “have it together.” If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what you’re carrying.
With over 11 years of experience as a hospital social worker, I have supported clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, and psychotic disorders. My work has also included supporting immigrant women, young children, (pre-)teenagers, young adults, and adults/seniors through moments of distress and crisis. These experiences allow me to meet clients with empathy, curiosity, and flexibility, grounded in an understanding that everyone’s story is unique.
My therapeutic style is holistic, individualized, and integrative. I tune in to each client’s pace and tailor our work to their goals and lived experiences.
Above all, I aim to create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to move forward in their own way. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work, and I value the trust that develops as we explore challenges together.
